Building a world where every child belongs.

For Oray Okechukwu, supporting neurodiverse children has never stopped at helping one child learn a new skill. Years spent working with learners, families and professionals brought a bigger challenge into focus: children cannot truly thrive if the schools, communities and systems around them are not prepared to understand, include and make room for them. The Orchid Foundation grew from a determination to help change that.

Her Love for Neuroinclusive Spaces

Through the Foundation, Oray has taken that commitment beyond individual practice; championing neuroinclusion, strengthening the capacity of educators and institutions, and creating opportunities for conversations that challenge stigma and shift how neurodevelopmental differences are understood. At the heart of her work is a belief that inclusion should never be an afterthought.

“Awareness is knowing disabilities exist. Inclusion is making room for them. Acceptance is embracing them and reshaping your world to make room for theirs.”
